How It Got Started

The Roots

     What enticed me to start blog writing? That is the famous question blog writers experience at the beginning of their careers. For me, it was pure inspiration to travel and be creative.

     In 2017, I had the experience to live in Hong Kong for three months. Within those three months, I learned more about myself and my passions than I ever knew possible. I loved learning about a different culture, experiencing new foods, and getting lost in the excitement of being abroad. I fell in love with traveling and was always searching for another great experience within the city.

     I have always had a strong passion for telling stories and being creative. I actually went to the Savannah College of Art and Design and earned a B.F.A. in Animation. I loved creating and telling stories to my class and watching people become invested. I get fueled by other people's emotions and it brings me energy within my soul.

     I had always tried to find a way to connect my travels and my creativity into one outlet. This is when I started to journal my experiences. As I was writing, I realized that my experiences and lessons learned may help other fellow travelers. This realization is what brought me to blog writing.
